First off this isn't a recommended method as it had a high failure rate.
If you're going to try, the amount would depend on if you are opioid naive or not. If you have never used them or haven't in many many months there is a chance it would work. If you add in some benzos and alcohol the chances do increase some. Be careful with alcohol as you don't want to vomit.
50mg is relatively low but everyone's body is different. Like I said, tolerance also plays a huge role

50 is not nearly enough to have a chance at being fatal. You're looking at taking upwards of 1 gram, at the very least. Even at those doses, fatality is not guaranteed. You'd have to combine them with some other stuff which I will not name - you'll have to do your own research.
If you're looking to get a nice high, 50mg is a good dose to get you messed up for a good few hours though.Similar threads
