Why are pill overdoses not recommend ? Is it because your found and can quickly be saved

Modern medicines has become much safer and they aren't being designed for this specific purpose obviously and they want to reduce such abuses.

There does exist a few like chloroquine, amitriptyline that still exist in market and known to be lethal as mentioned in PPH. I think they would take away those in the coming years as well.

It's unlikely that any OTC products can be relied upon to ctb. Vomiting, unpleasant sensations, potentially serious lifelong organ damage, yes, they're pretty probable.
There are instances I've seen reported occasionally where an attempt has been successfull, however not many and the odds aren't good. If it was that straightforward we wouldn't be jumping through hoops to try to obtain SN or discussing hanging methods.
