Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I'm thinking of just overdosing on my Antidepressants for attention, thoughts? I am mostly worried if there might be long-lasting damages to my brain!! :( if it helps, I plan to take around 1700 (?) mg of escitalopram (not an opioid so hopefully less chances of hypoxia?)! I am so tired that even if I DO die (very unlikely with lexapro, lol!) i wouldn't care. I just want someone to take me seriously, i am so desperate, I am close to begging to be taken back to the ward! Any long-term adverse side effects I should be aware of? Thanks!

Attention isn't worth it. You'll probably have a bunch of people thinking that you're doing it for attention anyways rather than be sympathetic.

Sometimes I overdose for self harm reasons but never for attention or sympathy. You'll receive the exact opposite of that.

Thank you for the advice! Surprisingly, my friends and family are very sympathetic with me and my depressive traits! My past experiences are often looked at with pity and sympathy, and never ridicule! I really appreciate the concern though! Thank you <333

It looks like death can occur at about 1500 mg or more so I really would recommend not taking 1700mg if your reasoning isn't mainly dying. You should only ctb if you are doing it 100% to die and you are sure you want to do it.

Also the side effects of a lexapro overdose are kind of brutal, like loss of consiousness and seizures (which both can cause brain damage) so I wouldn't recommend it. I hope you can find the attention you need in other ways. Take care. 🫂

don't. attention isn't worth it. people don't really care. sure, they might put you in the ward....but does that really mean they care? it's a social norm to intervene. if you want to go to the ward, you can voluntarily admit yourself. I don't see the point in hurting yourself for others.

I guess I like the attention it brings! Theres a lot of people in my life who care about me and people who i want to (very selfishly) make feel bad!! Thank you for your concerns, I really appreciate them!!! <333

Wouldn't recommend it. ODing non-fatally can cause brain damage, liver damage, etc... Irreversible damage to your body that will 100% lower your quality of life if you get unlucky.
