Is it possible to recover after over a decade of recurrent depressive disorder? It seems to be cured only for it to come back.

Why does it come back? What triggers it? It's probably a long and difficult way to break it up. There won't be any guarantee but you have to put effort into it, you need the right support, therapy, meds and probably a change of circumstances if external circumstances are causing your depression.
