• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Obviously a lot of us are here because we are a bit broken - financially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, you name it. I certainly fall into several of those categories. The other day, however, when I was thinking of my CTB reasons, one dawned on me that seems a bit odd. I think I have a morbid curiosity with dying. Like, reason #10 on my list is "to see what comes next". Is it just nothing? An Afterlife? Rebirth? Does anyone else feel this same curiosity?

Personally, I think there is no afterlife or rebirth, just permanent unconsciousness/sleep. So I am not very curious about it since I think I know what it will be. I am also very uncurious about the death process itself but I have to go through it unfortunately.

I definitely feel the same curiosity, but I'm not CTBing for the sake of seeing what comes next. I have witnessed people expressing this sort of curiosity and while I find it interesting, I don't think that this would be my reason. In general, my reason would be more based on not experiencing any more pain.

Not for me, quite the opposite, i feel very anxious about the "big blackout"

Lucky for me, i don't suffer from a chronic physical illness. I'm early 40's and have normal blood pressure, normal cholesterol, no diabetis, my weight is healthy (used to not be) i do smoke a lot tho and i lknow that it's bound to turn into something really bad eventually.
So, perhaps my "other reason" would be, not having to experience a chronic or terminal disease.

We all will see what comes next, as we all will die sooner or later. In my opinion the following questions are reasonable: How feels it to die by my choosen method and will I go to hell for suicide.

No, I don't want to ctb because of finding out what comes next as I already know what comes next. I want to ctb to be free from my pain and to be risk averse in such a way where I will never haveto suffer ever again. I know that death will allow me to never suffer ever again since it's just permanent non existence

No, not at all. I think there is nothing in death. Why would I be curious of nothingness?

I believe that matter never cease to exist but it changes forms constantly. I also believe that whatever the fundamental block of matter is, i believe it to be eternal to the past and to the future. For me to exist again is for matter to shape itself into me again. What I basically then believe in, is that I will exist again but I will never know that I existed before.
