I keep thinking about CTB through dehydration I know it's unrealistic but very possible!!! What if someone chose to accelerate the process by eating a few tablespoons of salt everyday?
Unrelated but i love your username i used to be a MAJOR katy stan lolYou'd puke, I accidentally ate a tablespoon of salt before (I was an infant) I was violently sick and couldn't stop puking for at least a few minutes or seconds.
A few weeks of pain is better than decades of suffering that's how i see it. I'm still researching methods and dehydration always comes on my mind so I'm looking for ways to accelerate it.As much as it's possible, I'd think it would be very painful and a bit drawn out, yeah? It's certainly unfortunate that the inaccessibility of relatively peaceful ways of dying makes people resort to methods like these (not your fault, it's just our reality, sadly). Anywho, best of luck in whatever you choose to do.
I already know it would take alot of time, I heard about a man who died this way and it took him like 3 weeks of not eating or drinking that's why I'm trying to research ways to accelerate it such as sitting next a heater in the summer while wrapped in plastic to sweat as much as possible...etcSame concept. But for me. No thanks.
Fatal hypernatremia due to drinking a large quantity of shoyu (Japanese soy sauce) - PubMed
We report a case of fatal salt poisoning in a 55-year-old woman who suffered from depression and drank a large quantity of shoyu (Japanese soy sauce). She presented with the highest ever documented serum sodium level of 187 mmol/L. This was associated with symptoms of cerebral damage which...pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
There are other story's of people surviving this method. Unfortunately.
Comas. Brain / organ damage.
Before you dehydrate all of your organs do.
It's not like drinking zero water in a desert for 3 days or 7 days whatever it is.
Implying you could actually keep the salt down..
It would suck up whatever liquids it can from your insides.
Good luck.
There's a story about a guy that tried to fast like jesus for 40 days he went around 3 weeks without food or water before he died. It is possible but you need to have the determination for it and for no one to stop you.Unfortunately I don't think it's possible to ctb like this. Your body will do whatever it takes to survive, as we really are trapped within. Trying this method will just result in more suffering, it's a shame that ctb is so difficult.
Thankfully I LOVE regular salt I can put it in my palm and lick it throughout the dayI like to put beer salt (lime flavor) in my palm and lick it. Maybe if you did this regularly it could work
A bit tmi but I'm already very dehydrated due to my eating disorder I vomit everyday even on days vomiting blood so I'd say if I were to cut food and water it'll be faster for me compared to healthy people and if I combine it with methods like eating salt and wearing those exercise plastic outfits next to a heater I can accelerate itEach organ in your body has been designed through hundreds of thousands of years of evolution to keep you alive for as long as possible. With methods such as dehydration or starvation, the body will hang on for as long as possible and try to convince you to stop what you are doing through immense discomfort and pain. It's the main reason this is such a popular form of torture. I understand you believe that living the rest of your days out would be a much greater overall suffering, and that may be true.
If there is any method more available to you, I'd take it over either of these. It pays off in the end to make it as fast as possible. Even death by exposure is faster than trying this. And each time you fail to do this method, all the suffering accrued from trying will be in vain.
Dehydration as a method is self accelerating. As your brain doesn't have the ability to properly regulate temperatures, eventually fever (a major part in dehydration) will develop. Vomiting as some other people mentioned above is actually beneficial to that end, as it displaces more water content from the body. Temperature and ventilation are a huge determining factor in survival time, however they're also the hardest variables to control in this scenario.
If you have to go this way I'm truly sorry for you.
