• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

    Donate via cryptocurrency:

    Bitcoin (BTC):
    Ethereum (ETH):
    Monero (XMR):

I was thinking about creating an alternate considering the warnings on my current account and how close to a ban some political debates might get me to ( even though i don't partake in them usually ). It keeps me from replying to some stuffs over here, the fear of losing this account with so much in it. At least one alternate should be a decent thing probably. I understand the concern against creating those though. Feels messed up to keep sugarcoating replies or even better, not at all replying to people because one report and it's done for you. Getting too attached to the internet is messed up. I am messed up.

I'd like to have my 1 alt too, for testing and things
(Tho I have a feeling that there are hidden alts around, maybe very few but nation states that have vendettas can be very strong, they would probably have 2 or 3 ppl in a labour camp doing alting with teams of experts)

Yo, that seems sarcasm but genuinely an alt could have been great. I just realized I could loose access to this email and forget my password, and if that happens I got no other way to be on the site probably. Not that I am here usually but for someday I would want to be here.

It wasn't sarcasm, nations states can actually do crazy things. The most famous stuff was the Putin poisonings, where research was done on targets, they were tracked, and nerve agents were sent their way.

If you've heard of state sponsored hacking, like STUXNET, the capabilities of a nation state are reasonably large (but not infinite, they can't spy on the thoughts of all, and get rid of anything they don't like with 100% perfection).

All it takes is for one leader to order an espionage campaign against a site they don't like (and if SaSu was found on a general's phone, the leader might be angry that SaSu appeared to have killed them, and decided to run an infiltration campaign for knowledge of how SaSu can be used against whatever targets the leader hated)

I remember reading somewhere that when the Soyjacks hacked 4Chan this year, it was found out that a majority of lurkers there were Israelis. A lot of posts were Shrill posts to spread propaganda i reckon.
What you just said reminded me of this. Although i do read all these conspiracy theory sort of stuffs with a lot of skepticism, i agree that some of it exists.
I really thought you were trying to be sarcastic in your previous reply haha.
