I'm new here but is there a way to end it all without leaving my corpse behind? I don't want people to mess around with my corpse after I'm dead. I'm guessing I would need someone to light my corpse on fire right after I die? A Viking style funeral after I die would be great.

It would take me a long time to save up for a boat that can go far enough into the sea and I don't want to wait that long. And won't the coast guard find your boat and find your body?

Japan's suicide forest would work if you go deep into it. There are still a lot of bodies that haven't been found. I saw that on a documentary.

I'm a physics major and I'm positive I can build DIY solar powered one for $1K. It's not like I really care if it breaks/sinks anyway. I'll pack some supplies and maybe drift through the silent sea a couple'a days and then finally CTB.

Have you thought of the extra heartache this would cause the people that love you.I totally get sucicide as I am wanting to go myself and I know this will cause upset to family but in time they will come to terms with my death but if I disappeared they would not know what happened to me and never have closure which I think would be even harder.You would be giving family false hope for your return.sorry I am not giving you the ideas you want but please think about it.

You could get someone to bury you. Hydrofluoric acid is an option, it would dissolve you. Sinking to the bottom of a lake or something would also work. Lots of options imo.

What if they are going to kill themselves as well? I kill myself, they burn my body. And then they kill themselves. But can I really trust other people to follow through with burning my body?
