Yeah. It's always about others. You seem to have an obligation to be always there for them. Relationships are based on mutual consent, not holding into someone until you burn them out. It will hurt, but if someone wants to be apart of you, it's not you who has all the say on this. Have you considered, maybe, the suicidal person may be suffering more than you will in order to be at that point?
Respect goes two ways. The people who (understandably) complains about you're making them feel bad, are the same that aren't considering your suffering in first place, and usually, don't care to help you emotionally either.
