normal people and suicide

im really curious on how could someone really live out their life without thinking about some suicidal thoughts or depressive thoughts like for me im most of the time depressed and suicidal i dont really get how "normal" people think when they get in a bad situation or whatever without immediately thinking about shooting themselves

We really have a very different brain from then, i can't comprehend how they pass through bad moments without thinking of suicide or even worse how they pass through bad moments and even bring another one to this hell.

For the people I know that have got through tough times, they had at least these two things: family to lean on, and a backup plan.
They literally saved for a rainy day. Not just lip service to the phrase. Literally saved. Had other skills. Backup career options.
For family, have to be lucky I guess. Need a big family for support and encouragement.
I didn't get the big family. Initially zero money but I lucked into a little bit. Didn't save for a rainy day like I should have. Somewhat but not nearly enough.
