Discussion non leathal ways of disappearing

this may be out of the scope of committing suicide technically but...
retrospectively, if the goal is just to "disappear", why not for example:
- be alive, with no memory (eg. memory drugs)
- be alive, with new connections (eg. being adopted)
- maybe more?
I'm certainly well aware how any of those has solid requirements like, money, opportunity, etc

Maybe it's possible for people to be able to do that if their circumstances allow them to. In my case I would like to disappear completely from this world and be forgotten about like I never existed at all. Existing could never appeal to me in any way and I simply prefer the sound of being dead. It actually sounds ideal to just completely disappear if such a thing was possible.

I've thought of that. I mean, I know people try to avoid this state, but I feel like I'm already there… so, why not?
