There are no good people indeed, it's just that some are more insensitive and cruel than others. Selfishness, however, is present in all of us, so much so that it's rooted in our very core. That is why I despise myself just as much as I despise people in general - I look at myself and I see an egotistical, narrow-minded animal. The good news is that I'm leaving no trace behind, so when I die my ugliness dies with me.

My nonsense aside, I'm so sorry that you've had to experience the worst of humanity and be disabled and trapped in such a nightmarish life. I wish I could actually comfort you instead of babbling, but I don't know how.
