Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I am getting ready to implement an inert gas setup via SCBA.

I just tested my nitrogen with an oxygen analyzer (yellow f0r3ns1cs D3t3ct0r FD brand) like one of the two gas monkey used for his setup.

After hooking it up and allowing 30 seconds of nitrogen at 5 lpm through the device, the result indicated that the cylinder contains 0.7% oxygen. Tested it again at 10 lpm with same results.

This is food grade nitrogen purchased at a reputable industrial gas company.

Can anyone comment on how significantly this will impact time to unconsciousness? As obviously death is still imminent in an environment with only < 1% (my concern is time to unconsciousness allowing SI to kick in)

I've heard somewhere that oxygen in the air your breathing is at or below 6% will make you unconscious in under a minute.

1 - 1.5 minutes of breathing that gas mixture should be enough to make you insensitive to surgical operations
