Hi, I am trying to extend my EEBD hose by connecting to another hose. I have got the extension tube on the barb. Can i just put a hose clamp over the barb as shown below, or do I need a ferrule like was mentioned in Vizzy's post? This is a ferrule below from Vizzy's post

I am thinking about incorporating the sky3000 Nitrogen N2 Purity Tester, to assure that my nitrogen is at least 99% pure (I am not sure I can trust the 99.9% pure grade on the tank). It is quite expensive, but do you guys think it is worth investing in for assurance?
