I saw a thread about nitrogen but i'm left confused so i'm making this one to clear confusion.
How much nitrogen do i actually need for a successful suicide? I saw people suggesting ridiculous amounts that would cost over $10k.
Here 7 liters of nitrogen gas costs $27/€25, would that be enough?

In the book it's recommended to allow for 20L/min for 20 mins, that is a total of 400L.

7L of nitrogen gas does not cost $27, I'm guessing $27 is to fill a 7 litre bottle, these are typically pressurised to about 200bar so you would be getting 1400L of nitrogen in a 7L bottle.

In gas cylinders nitrogen is compressed. If we talk about a 2 liter cylinder it has a geometric volume of 2 liters, it would fit 2 liters of water. However nitrogen is stored under pressure. If the cylinder has a pressure of 200 bar it contains 200 * 2 liter = 400 liters of nitrogen at normal atmospheric pressure.
(If your country uses bar and liters. In the US for example a "20 cubic feet" cylinder contains 20 cubic feet at atmospheric pressure.)

For using an exit bag, gas flow of 15 liters per minute for at least 20 minutes is recommended. 15 * 20 = 300 liters
So a 2 liter gas cylinder at 200 bar is usable, however most folks choose a larger size for longer gas flow to be on the safe side.

Welcome @flanker you said you saw the nitrogen gas thread. But not sure you would have thought to search for 'inert gas'. Just making sure you saw this too.

Depends on where you live. You mean for an exit bag using industrial nitrogen?
I live in eastern Europe.
I want to use industrial nitrogen but not exit bag, i would prefer oxygen mask.
On manufacturer's website it says that the nitrogen is 5.0 (meaning 99% purity) and it costs $27 per 7kg, roughly translated: "Amount in packaging: 6.96kg"
that's the lowest amount one can buy, 6.96kg (let's round it to 7kg lol)
so...would those 7kg be enough?
I hope this isn't gonna cost me over $100 because i need to buy a cylinder too and pressure manager thing

As end user you always buy or rent gas cylinders. This sounds like a bulk deal? In europe nitrogen cylinders generally come in sizes like 2,5,10... liters at 200 bar.
A purity of 5.0 is 99,999%. For our purpose 2.8 (99,8%) or higher is ok.
I hope this isn't gonna cost me over $100
Hm, i dont know the exact prices in your country but i think it would cost you more.
