Hi, I'm new here,

I'm from the UK, my life has suddenly gone down the pan in a matter of seconds.

I'm just interested to know if this is the same for Others?

I was brought up in an affluent part of the UK in Surrey which meant I had a peaceful upbringing.

We weren't well off and I'm still not now.

I used to be an actor until I stopped because I fell out of love with it
I now live on my own. But now I am at the start of a huge court case and I don't know if I can go through with it.

Whats the point in being alive if you're just going to be incarcerated. I'm going to lose everything. My flat which I got 3 years ago, friends that I have met over the last few years too.

I'm really struggling. Anyone else have similar stories?

A tip of advice, if you decide to ctb when you get that far you should really think about if this is what you really want. There is no return, permanent. I personally am thinking about making a bucket list. I hope you find peace in whatever you decide to do.

Yeah I get that. I just wanted to seek comfort knowing that I'm not the only one who had a reasonable life and then went down a path of destruction.

You're not. I've had a pretty good life, but still I don't feel like I belong or that I can be happy. I can't relate to the destruction part i'm afraid.

By destruction I just mean that I keep making stupid decisions. I've a feeling I'm undiagnosed ADHD. A condition which makes you do silly things without thinking about the consequences.

I hope you'll find what you're looking for whether it's friendship that won't invalidate you or other knowledge you need for resolving your case. Yes, there are successful people (whether in education or career) here on this site. You can use search bar and pm after several postings.

Heya, and I can relate. I was fortunate enough to have a good upbringing, was in an ideal position to have a good life, but undiagnosed ADHD and depression wrecked my lifepath. I'm sorry you're going through that, I hope everything works out.

welcome to the forum fellow sufferer, I am sorry the cruel and twisted fates have also brought you here. I do not have a similar story, but I do have paranoia about cops so I'd definitely be in the same boat. I really hope everything resolves peacefully for you. Fuck prison. Fuck the system. Fuck life. Yeah I'm sure the pain of losing a good quality of life is awful. While what you've never had you don't miss. Some might say these things are character building. But for all who improve there are probably way more shambling around more dead than alive. I hope it is not as bad as you think.

I hope so too. Thing is I've already been through one character building event and don't think I could cope with another.

I had a pretty good life but danger was lurking And I wasn't paying close enough attention… Was spending way too much money and everything just came crashing down… Now I am reduced to poverty and isolation… Not much point in mere existence….
