  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

No significant reason for sharing this other than the fact that I'm personally obsessed with watching documentaries about ctb
I think this is a new one

This documentary leaves me frustrated.

Of course, this is tragic for everyone involved, but all the suffering could be avoided if people could end their lives in a humane way, or at least get suitable help that goes beyond the standard repertoire of many professionals.

Occupational hazard, I'm afraid. If only they'd (the affected drivers) advocate for euthanasia or similar, then they could possibly protect future drivers from the potential trauma.

I feel for John. Poor guy must have been out of his mind beyond belief. If only people didn't stigmatize mental illness and suicidal ideation. We need HELP. Not platitudes. Not so much drugs we turn into zombies and certainly not "tough love". We need understanding. Compassion. And most of all empathy....

The other part that made me tear up was that poor train driver. Jesus fuck. Christmas Day? That's gotta haunt someone forever. But it's not the victims nor driver's fault. No. It's the system and society that failed those most in need. We need to address and change this shit....

Absolutely, pretty much every documentary about ctb(other than ones that are pro-choice/euthanasia etc.) make me so annoyed

@xLosthopex Hi. I think I saw a post from you where you mentioned a pharm website that did not ship to your place but I cannot remember the name and can't find the post, but now I am looking for it as a possible source for antiemetic. Can you let me know the name and even maybe some others you know?

As long as society makes it harder to kill yourself at home or in a private setting somewhere then suicides are going to be pushed out in the open in public for all to see. This is the result. I literally have no sympathy for the train workers or passengers and I don't know care what anybody thinks. How would you fucking feel to be so fucking desperate to consider killing yourself by train? Well I have and even in my darkest moments I still can't fathom putting my neck on the tracks and hearing the train coming, horns blowing, the wheels crunch across my neck and behead me. But what if that's one of the only options to die? What then?

But common sense makes no sense in this world my friend, you should know that by now, logic need not apply for humanity!
All the best
