Yeah where is the confusion? Alcohol + opiods + propo potential respiratory arrest in your sleep

Doesnt even need to be much everyone is different, some people could have 1 drink and 1 oxycodone and die in their sleep it happens.

Similar thing happened to the screamer in hawthorne heights:

Its rare but it happens, the opiate was even hydrocodone at that, he had it for tooth surgery or something.

How could it be declared accidental with that levels of drugs in her system?
How does that not work for me, I frequently mix and abuse prescribed and OTC medicines but it's never got me to that level.
How did her partner fall asleep next to her, when presumably there must have been something physiological going on?
How much and in what quantities did she take?
Those are my questions basically.

Prescribed Vicodin.
Good luck getting that out of a Dr in the UK.
NICE issued guidelines in 2020 that tell drs not to prescribe Opiates, NSAID's and anti-epilitic drugs for people with Chronic Pain.

What part of everyone is different is confusing? Some people it does nothing, some people only need a small amount and it could kill them, it's a crapshoot, drugs effect everyone different, its not a one recipe fits all unless its like a really high dose of something that generally kills everyone, other wise it is a crapshoot

Guess it's just my shit luck then not to be susceptible in that way

Which is way more than my 17 year old self did.
And quite a bit more than I took last October.
But I have a large stash now.

I think it depends which meds you have, and what dosage you have of them.
There are also so many things that the main stream media will keep out of their articles, so there's a lot of factors we don't know about these people and what else contributed to them passing away (such as if they were already sick with the flu or pneumonia. That's how Brittany Murphy passed so easily, she had pneumonia plus pills).

Remember: she was a nurse.
We don't know what meds she had prescribed to her and what meds she was able to access.
It's not unusual to get a script from a friend or colleague "just to get through the next 2 weeks".
And the death would be ruled accidental if there were no previous signs of suicidality. No letter. An existing health condition and prescribed meds. It's possible that she just underestimated the combination of everything she took.
Some people simply believe that "these side effects are rare. it won't happen to me". And then it does.

10 or 14 boxes of amitriptyline 25mgs 28 per box. Can't go and count now partner is around .
14 Zopiclone.
Just need the anti emetic and I am good to go .
pain medication epilepsy drug propanol and ethanol (presumably due to metabolism of alcohol) were found in her blood.

None of those I know much about but something about Zolpiderm is making my brain twitch. Also the instant release sounds like a good amount but maybe look up LD 50 per kg of body weight.

Have an anti-emetic esp if you are having with booze.
Didn't vomit on my last OD, thinking I should try getting cinnarzine out of my Dr again.
If you do get hold of an anti-emetic so you you don't throw up
Reading here, pills are not a very reliable method, which is one of the reasons I started this thread.

I can't say how much norco you would need, but I can tell you:
- trazodone will make you vomit and sleepy but it's unlikely to kill you.
- same as lorazepam and zolpidem. You would need a wagon load of Lorazepam (like literally 3000 pills of 1 mg each)

All these meds here are prescribed to people who are potentially suicidal and none of them are particularly fatal if taken as an overdose. What they will do is make you sleep, very likely sick, probably vomit in your sleep and the most likely way of dying from these is inhaling your own vomit.

Sorry to be so blunt, but I've been there.
It's not pretty and you'll just end up in a mandatory 72 hr hold in hospital, a referral to your GP and a bag of dirty clothes.

Looks like the Zolpiderm amount would have to be three to four times the amount you have to be effective.
