Hey everyone, this is my first post on this site. Obviously I hope to get better and not have to visit this site anymore, but in the meantime I would like to have an exit plan in case life becomes too unbearable. I've read a bit about Nembutal as a suicide drug, and I was wondering if you guys have anything to say about it. Obviously getting nembutal is not easy, but there are still ways to do it. I've read from the PPeH about the nitrogen exit bag, Cardiac Switch, SN, etc., but Nembutal sounds a lot more reliable and less painful than those options.

Hi, did you ever get any info or insight here? I'm interested too.

What is the cardiac switch? Reading about it for the first time. Is it painless?

The cardiac switch is the digoxin / amitripyline combo as in the 5 drug mix (DDMAPh).

Here's how it works:

There are five components to the lethal mixture (DDMAPh): Morphine, diazepam (Valium), and phenobarbital.
These sedatives put you to sleep within three to ten minutes of taking them. You then rapidly enter a deep coma. As the brain turns off many people stop breathing (they don't feel this) and die within thirty to sixty minutes. But some people continue breathing at a low level and can live on for many hours (while still unconscious).

For this reason, the medication cocktail also includes: Digoxin and amitriptyline.
These are highly toxic to the heart. So if the person continues breathing even while in a deep coma, these medicines will bring on a comfortable death in a few hours.

The role of the Morphine, diazepam (Valium), and phenobarbital is to make the cardiac switch (digoxin & amitriptyline) peaceful.
