I have decided to get the fck outta this world via using inert gas asphyxia and have gathered required materials for that. But I couldn't find any video regarding preaparing an exit bag. I have the cord I have an oven bag(45cx45cm) too but its thin, I have nitrogen pressed in 235 bar 5l and a nitrogen flow regulator with flowmeter. the only thing that is not perfect is the exit bag. how should the plastic tubing go inside the bag , does it have to be completely sealed ? in the book of derek humpry final exit, plastic tubing goes just inside from the open neck but wouldn't allow oxygen to contaminate ? I don't know how to preapare an exit bag and I also don't want to fail and live in a vegatative state for the rest of my life. help me out please

yea I watched it (chinese guy) and it doeesn't explain how the tubing should be inserted still...but thx anyways
The tubing should go in the bag, and taped inside it

If you have the money can you skip the tapes and bags and tubing and by one of those new covid masks and hook them up directly to the gas bottle?

I haven't seen a demonstration video of the new masks.

An EEBD Hood is a better option than an Exit Bag

What about a regular rebreather mask they'd use for oxygen? Wouldnt the vents on the bag let just enough CO2 out? Or do you think you would yank it off by accident?

I think people tried those oxygen rebreather masks, but they didn't provide a tight enough seal to prevent oxygen from getting in.

Ah man. I've tried looking at the megathread but I'm deep in it right now if you catch my drift. The whole thing might as well be in Latin. Where would you recommend I start or is there a simplified version? like I basically just want the shopping cart atp. I don't know what the rules are besides not giving sources but I wish someone could just tell me what to do lmao. Feel braindead tbh.

Hi! It should just be like this, taped to the inside. The bag is not supposed to be sealed with tape when you put it on. The idea is that the flow of the nitrogen fills the bags and carries the CO2 to the outside. Oxygen won't come inside because the constant flow won't allow it.
I took this image from a pph version. I can dm you the source to download it.

If you're going with the exit bag, you'll need:
- an oven bag or turkey roasting bag (or make your own - watch Betty's how-to video, or Chis how-to video.)

- 6mm diameter oxygen tubing 185337 Screenshot 20240102 1558022
185344 185338 Screenshot 20240102 1558523

- a gas regulator(nitrogen or argon), with a flowmeter that has litre per minutes(LPM) readings on it.

- a nitrogen or argon cylinder(at least a 5 litre).
- small mini hose clamps(6-8mm)

Or alternatively to the exit bag, get a cheap EEBD hood from Chinese shopping websites, and hook that up to a regulator:

Thankyou. Is tubing size essential? Can only see 1cm diameters. And only 5L of IG? Sounded like a lot more in descriptions 😅. Not that I know where to obtain it from regardless

As long as the tubing fits on the regulator hose barb,
this part:

The hose barb usually comes with the regulator, but not attached:

Then you screw it on.

Then attach the tubing to it.
184808 IMG 20231226 0100272
Then use a hose clamp to tighten it on.
People usually get 6mm tubing, I guess slightly bigger is ok, you can just tighten it with 1 or 2 hose clamps.

Yeah, a 5l nitrogen cylinder, at 200 bar pressure, gives 1000 litres of compressed gas.

I saw on the other thread you're from the UK. On the inert gas megathread, UK posters said it was difficult enough to source nitrogen cylinders, but one poster found a source. Might be worth PM'ing them when you have enough posts posted to pm(~20). They discussed it on this page on the megathread.
