Help Need help deciding CTB date

Hi. So, my SN is set to arrive somewhere next week, probably on the 23-24. I was planning to CTB the day i get the SN, but then I got news that my sister is moving away on the 28th for a new job, and on the 26th my mom is going to a friend's wedding in the same city sister is currently working in, lets say city X. I am in a different city altogether (city Y).

Should i wait for my sister to go away to her new job (on the 28th), or is it okay for me to CTB before that time so that she has time to grieve surrounded by family members?

it's gonna hit them like a freight train out of nowhere. No accounting for how they are gonna react to it. if you wanna spare them the pain, you can't do it. But that's up to you.

There's no perfect timing for this. Whether you do it before your sister leaves or after, she's going to be hit hard. And either way, it's likely she won't be able to start or keep the job without needing time off. If it happens before, she might not even be in a state to go. If it's after, she'll still probably need to step away early on. The grief is going to land no matter when it happens.

What matters more is when you feel ready. Don't stretch the timeline trying to find a version of this that hurts less because it doesn't exist. Do it when it makes sense for you, not because you're trying to control how others will cope. They'll deal with it how they need to, and the timing won't change that in any lasting way.

I am a bit hesitant to share because maybe my life is not as fucked up as i think it is, lol. I have been very burnt out, every aspect of my life is messed up, and there is this milestone in my academic life that i know i wont be able to achieve before running out of money.

I have planned to ctb 8 months ago using night night, but decided against it and got help. But now, i think it is the right time. I hope that answers your question.
