Need help and advice

Hi! I'm new here and I need help and advice on a guaranteed way to ctb. I've tried before and failed and I want it to work this time. Any advice is appreciated!

sounds like what you're looking for is reliability. the more reliable a method is, the greater is the chance of success.

but there are other aspects one may consider as well. I can't remember all of them, but some are peacefulness, availability, the time it takes to work, danger to others, risks and consequences of failing, personal preference etc etc…

I think availability is always important. if a method is reliable and peaceful but unavailable, it's impossible to do it.

my personal methods of choice for ME (considering what's available to me and considering I live alone and am unlikely to be found in days) in order of personal preference are:
1) SN (sodium nitrite)
2) amitriptyline
3) chloroquine
4) firearm

methods I personally would never do: jumping of a building, getting run over by a train, hanging, cutting wrists, CO (carbon monoxide), self-immolation, decapitation, drowning, starvation, electrocution, cop suicide, overdose with unreliable drugs etc…

but these are just my personal preferences. it's not that some methods are bad and other good. each one has to be researched individually to see their benefits and downsides. this is also not a suggestion, I don't recommend any particular method and I'm not encouraging you or anyone to CTB.

please consider the safety of the methods. I mean, the risk of getting injured or disabled permanently after a failed attempt.
seeing people getting disabled or brain-damaged really makes me sad.

one question you gotta ask yourself is: do I have access to a place where it's unlikely that anyone will find me in the next X hours? the amount of time needed varies depending on the method, some of them require more time than others.

inform yourself, do your own research carefully. safety comes first. never act out of impulse. this is a big decision and has to be thought carefully.

I'm sorry that you went through a failed attempt, I can imagine that it must have been awful. Ctb really is so difficult and in my case, the fear of failure is the main thing holding me back. More than anything I wish that it was easier to leave this world. I wish you the best in whatever happens.
