Have you had an NDE while attempting? You can also share any interesting NDEs you have heard of.

I have had a NDE but not from an attempt. I got SJS (Steven-Johnson's Syndrome) which is a severe allergic reaction to medication. The experience is torturous, for 2 weeks straight I was in the ICU, I can't see due to eye surgery, I can't speak but only make noises since I'm intubated, and every other moment it feels like my body is on fire perhaps due to a fever. The thing is, I could hear the nurses asking me "how much does it hurt", "where does it hurt" and I yelled out "10/10" and "everywhere!" but I felt detached from my body, an OBE, as if the physical pain began to be masked by a mental one. I went down a weird trip, and suddenly I felt my body rushing lifting upwards and suddenly I see this white hallway and at the end is just a white light. My instant thought was "game over", and suddenly I felt a moment of intense peace. It's the most peaceful I had ever felt, accepting death in front of me, knowing the other side is peace. But then I heard something, as if a car door closing, and I was suddenly rushing downwards (for a moment I thought, oh no, I didn't make it I'm going to hell instead) but I awoke back in the hospital bed.

I think it was the other side.
Ou I wonder what the other side is. Do you remember any other details?

No just bright white light and the feeling of peace. I've never been religious, and generally felt that after death was eternal oblivion, just absolute nothingness and blackness yet my brain showed me that. It has made me believe that there is something after death, I don't know what it is, it's probably a world unlike ours, but what I do believe is that it's peace.
