"life fucking sucks, so let me bring more people into it for my own benefit"
the lack of consideration and regard when it comes to procreation is disturbing sometimes. there is no second thought before subjecting a person to all of life's suffering. fucking terrible.

I find it so disturbing how anyone would even think it's acceptable to procreate in the first place, it really disgusts me how people choose to impose decades of meaningless suffering onto others, procreation causes nothing but harm. What's so tragic to me is how this human species hasn't gone voluntarily extinct yet even know nobody can suffer from never existing at all with their being no need for existence.

It's sad that they do this. They've been conditioned to climb the ladder and gain self respect through productivity alone, so they ruin themselves by working alot, which provides no meaning for many of these people and they lose touch with a lot of their passions and hobbies, so they don't even think to make time for self exploration, peace, wisdom, passions/hobbies and instead think it's all just suffering at work and then coming home and raising kids and hopefully the suffering now has meaning lol.

Oh I thought you were going to say you actually had a natalist moment lol!!
I thought the exact same thing...šŸ˜ƒ

Joking aside... I think we all had our natalist/pro-life "moment" in our lives. And this recognition only goes to show how pervasive and ubiquitous natalism/pro-life ideology is.

It's the default ideology we're flooded and conditioned with since our birth.' Therefore it's very hard for one to question and dispute it's validity.

I actually am a natalist, I was just surprised OP was making a thread about it, then I saw the actual topic of the thread. That guy's reasons for having kids are pretty sad. Lots of people get out of their conditioned beliefs and discard their religion, god in general, their parent's politics, etc.

"I work so much I don't even get to enjoy the benefits of working"

Why doesn't he just go traveling something? If I were him, I'd use that money to explore the world

Yeah, this seems selfish. Having kids not to give them a good life, but to feel good about themselves.
Though maybe they actually will make a good life for their kids, if they claim to be such a hard worker. Who knows.

Sorry to say, but if they are 'boomers', then it's perfectly normal. They didn't have all the informations we have now.
Oops I have to suicide now, they told me to not cause problems "to them their reputation is more important than my well being"

The worst part is that they think that I'm an ass**le or that I'm just faking.... betrayed and beaten :ahhha:

Btw I cannot judge them, it's their head and their culture that are wrong..

Ugh, I know. The FIRST think mother will think abt if I ctb will be "What can I blame? I can't be responsible for this!". Spent a whole day shouting how I'm useless and can't do anything then turns around and acts all "nice"? From "You're useless/worthless" to "You can do anything!", STUPID MEANINGLESS SHIT.

Really, these people blindly following their instincts to pass down their shitty genes no mater what.

To return to OP, this guy works so hard he can't enjoy any of it, then gets "A wife and kids" to make things meaningful? Huh, will he actually be there for them, to live, to bond, or will it just be his wallet. Also an ATM moment, the moment he's having hard times and can't make the $$$, they're gonna leave him!
