I am currently reading a (french) book where a suicidal girl hire a hit man to kill herself on the darkweb.

I KNOW it is fiction. But is there any chance it could be possible ?

As I seem to not be able to kms on my own, it would be so nice to have this possibility.

I don't think they would like to kill an innocent person , gangsters , they tend to kill themselves between each other for whatever reasons ( revenge for another kill, unpaid debt , territory dispute,etc.)

I don't think they would accept to kill a regular citizen, because they is a risk for each murder.

They might think you are a cop , why they would trust anybody they don't know.

I think about this often too. But as a woman I'd be afraid to approach a gang, what if they try to rape me before killing me? I would want being killed to be as painless as possible.
Same think with the dark web, I mean majority of them are probably frauds but what if they are a sadist, and try to torture you before killing you?....perhaps that's just the overthinker of me.

Look up the names Dalia Dippolito, Wendi Adelson & Charles Adelson, and Julia Merfeld.

Sure you can try to hire a hitman. But two of these women who tried hiring hitmen to kill their husbands and collect life insurance policies (Dippolito and Merfeld) got caught before it happened, and are now in prison for a long time. One of them, Adelson, did get her husband killed. Now her brother is in prison for life for conspiracy to commit murder, the hitmen are in prison for life, her mom is on trial for conspiracy to commit murder, and it's only a matter of time before Wendi Adelson is arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Probably not worth it to try.

The timing of this post is uncanny. I just watched a video on YouTube about a woman who put a hit on herself on craigslist. She deleted the post a few minutes later but a man saw it an actually fulfilled her wish.

As per the video I saw, the man contacted her through craigslist and she revealed more information about herself through messages.

Hitmen exist, just probably not how we think of... They are more like spy/Assassin's who work for governments, who work for Putin...

Or hitmen who work for very rich people, or hitmen who work for the military (in this case it is legal to be a hitman).

If you are very rich you might be able to find someone like that, maybe an ex-military guy, combat veteran...

Darkweb are most likely scams, all of them.

I've thought of this several times. But I am afraid if I go to some gang environment, I'll be raped and tortured before they kill me. And I want to go as peaceful as possible. Unfair, isn't it? Even when ending our pain, it has to be painful too. We have no choice.

There were a couple other stories written about this, pre internet days. It's probably less likely to work than find someone. Most likely either get some BS guy who just takes money or a cop. You'd have better luck going to some shady part of a large city and taunting criminals to do something.

Besides, it sounds stressful literally not knowing when you will be killed.

Dark web hitmen don't exist. You'll only find a legit hitman if you have the right connections. I'd definitely not go looking for a gang to do it because they could see you as easy pray and you could end up being the victim of SA/Rape/Human trafficking.

Speaking of Craigslist there is currently an ad near me basically saying they are a dealer and sell m30s and a bunch of other substances with the names coded in an advertisement for house supplies. Very tempted but from what I'm reading the risk is way higher than the reward.. super sketch

I watched a tv show where a journalist interviews professional assassins in South Africa. I guess it's an industry there. A whole other world.

And I once saw a news segment about a website for hiring hitmen but the people running the website were regular people who then tipped off the fbi.

I'm seconding @UKscotty. It is impossible to find an actual person for the job unless you have connections (not necessarily criminal).
But then, people will know you anyway, so...

Stay away from the dark web; you will find nothing but scams there for this type of job.

I remember seeing a documentary of a lady in some South American country.. Brazil I think not sure.. She hired a hitman to bump her off.. In the meantime SI kicked in and she changed her mind and she got really frantic as she could not reach him to call it off.. She was somehow finally able to though in the nick of time..
