Each 100 mL contains:

Sodium Diphenylhydantoin ………………………… 5 g

Indications
For inducing a rapid, painless, and humane euthanasia in dogs and cats.

Vial containing 15 mL.




Would this work? What is the letal dose of Pentobarbital? Also I'm not sure what Diphenylhydantoin is for and whether it would interfer

Thank you, I'm worried about the Sodium Diphenylhydantoin it contains, not sure about its effects.

The Diphenylhydantoin is an anti-seizure drug. It might be for controlling convulsions as the brain dies. I am not sure if that is a thing with pentabarbatol, but you see it in things like suffocation.

Rapid IV infusion of diphenylhydantoin (phenytoin) causes CNS depression, low blood pressure and abnormal heart rhythm - leading to circulatory collapse: it's synergistic with the pentobarbital to produce a rapid, painless effect:

Doing the math, each vial will contain 6g of N (15ml vial x 40g N / 100 ml = 6g N per vial). The PPH says that 10g is a reliable lethal dose. So keep in mind that you will need at least two vials to CTB.

It's a vet shop in my country (South america). It seems you can order online but I'm not sure if it's still open and if they are going to ask me proof of being a vet.
I'll update the thread if I get an answer. I'm thinking of becoming a veterinarian, then you have free access to N everywhere. The glory.

So, one bottle is not enough? I have same product.
