N in Latin America

I was curious as to if it is easy to find N or any equivalent products at veterinary shops in Latin America. I have heard about Mexico and Peru, and I was wondering if it is a relatively common product, under what conditions it may be sold, etc. and if anyone has any experience procuring it.

It's sold by vets, but it's going to be hard to get them to sell it to you. A lot of them know what it's used for and don't want to participate, especially if a foreigner comes in asking for it.

Probably the best shot. I wouldn't go there unless I had viable leads to pursue, I don't know if I have the energy to go from store to store just to get turned down.

I feel like I will have to! So long as I am in an area with many stores, I think I will be alright.

Are you just going to write the medication name on a piece of paper and show it to them haha? I don't speak Spanish so that's literally what I'd have to do unless I was to get a local to translate for me.

My idea would be crafting a story in which I work for a horse therapy center, hence why I am a gringo, and that I need to put one of the horses down.
