• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Two weeks ago I started to be able to freely cry

I'm talking about the most painfull thing and she's like
"your voice"
basically she ment I'm crying too loud
and other people may be uncomfortable cause of that :))))
I knoe and that's my big fear. I always geel guilty but I think they will understand. Society does not offer me euthanasia, does not allow me kill myself. and psych ward would kill me

Why an I not allowed in society? Why people cannot see the true? that other people have problems

I either cry and process the thing or it traumatizes me

I'm scared to cry again

please
help

Tell me that you understand when somebody is crying at night or hides in the corner on the street to cry

Tell me that's ok

Plese

Tell your therapist to go fuck themself, and go find someone better for you. You deserve better I'm able to laugh and cry freely with mine so find someone that doesn't just see dollar signs in your eyes; find someone who sees the tears and sees a human who has suffered. It's okay to cry it a way for us humans to pour out our emotions so don't let anyone tell you can't cry.

Seriously out of anyone in this world, a therapist said that? How unthinkable. Seriously unforgivable. I mean, crying is totally fine, even when others hear someone crying, they mostly won't be annoyed by that, they might even have empathy on whoever is crying

I was alone. And it was TRAUMA therapy.
Like she knew people will cry there and she said the building has rules (BUT SHE WAS TELLING ME TO NOT CRY SO LOUD EVEN IN MY HOME)

Perhaps the walls in her office are really thin and she's genuinely worried about that. In which case I think it's okay for her to tell you - but - she should also appologize for it because this is *her* problem. Therapy involves crying, and crying might be loud. She should have anticipated that. You wouldn't expect a heavy metal band to practice quietly, would you? Instead, you either soundproof the room, or you choose a better room. And if she indicated that *you* might be *responsible* for someone else's discomfort - well that would be really weird to hear from a therapist tbh. From all the therapists I had, I'd expect to hear the direct opposite.

I guess if you're otherwise comfortable with the therapist, try to talk to her about it and how her remark made you feel. But at any rate, if you're not able to let go and cry in therapy - well that seems like an issue. I remember my earlier therapy sessions, those were soaked in tears.

Btw, as someone who wasn't able to cry for a long time, and then cried *a lot* during therapy sessions - I am proud for you being able to cry again! :)

im so sorry that that happened!!

that should be very expected in a therapeutic setting. unless it was discussed prior to session I think that was very inappropriate of them!

you should find someone else to see imo. it's important that you feel safe enough to cry in front of your therapist
