My SN arrived clumped together in a huge ball-like mass. Is it defective

I bought it from an American lab by using a fake company name and having it shipped to a UPS store.

I'm wondering, if I can still use it by just breaking apart the mass or using the leftover SN at the bottom of the bottle

Was it closed and packaged properly? Looks like moisture got in. Could have even oxidized to useless nitrate. It's suspiciously yellow. What does the white powder at the bottom look like?

I bought mine from a reputable chemical supplier in my country. It had four years remaining until its expiry date and looked exactly like that. I was told it was absolutely fine because high-purity SN does not contain anti-caking agents, which preserves its maximum purity.

Mine was the same grade as yours.

I purchased from the old big reputable seller a year ago and mine is very cakey, very normal. just ensure you mix it well so it doesnt stay caked up. I actually attempted to drink sn but then bailed last second due to SI. I then... poured something else in the same cup and drank it. proved for a very interesting! night, so just keep that in mind.

Mine was unsealed with one huge clump but it broke easily, the surface only as I remember, when it was delivered, but it is a bottle for chemicals with a screw cap and another one under (like a plug seal). I blood tested it (not intentionally but used the opportunity when I cut myself by accident). It got so dark almost black. I think no difference for real.
