Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I recently just went to MEPS a few days ago and my recruiter hasn't spoke to me since, its been 6 days since I last spoke to my Marine Corps recruiter and I remember him asking me something along the lines of "Is there anything else you want to do?" which sounds like a bad omen to me because that feels like he might be quietly trying to drop me from the process.

I already bought the ASVAB for dummies book to study which I read yesterday on the math part because I am so terrible at math I had to take IEP classes for it.

I want to be able to smoke weed again eventually but I want to give it a month or 2 to see if my recruiter ghosts me on the process.

I would follow up with them in a week or two.

I was in the delayed entry program for the Navy my senior year of high school. I had to deal with MEPS two separate times and I still refer to it as an undocumented circle of hell.

What I did learn, the recruiter will do next to anything to get you in. If they are dealing with a bunch of new recruits, it could delay them getting in touch, but not by long.

If they don't respond, I wouldn't waste months of your time waiting for them to decide if they want you or not.

I hope you get what you need.

I've heard from users recruiters can be more picky this time of year bc quotas are being reached but I thought quotas were monthly?

There's an annual quota for every branch. This year the jar head's quota is 29,000. By March they already had hit 106.46% of their quota. I don't know the actual numbers but it was reported all branches were over their quotas after the July 4th parade.
