I wrote this to Exit international about the SARCO assisted suicide system. I hope this helps embolden and encourage you guys for the fight we are currently faced with. It's a war of ideas, thoughts, mass influence, emotional manipulation through words. Push back against the pro-life, the media and the control and power obsessed governments.


Hello.

I am writing this email to congratulate Mr. Nitschke and all responsible for bringing this Sarco system into existence. It looks amazing and the idea really sounds like an ideal way to go.

I am wondering if there's been any thought about creating Sarco Centers (as I will call them), where people could go into an actual building housing them, put down their signature, pay money to cover the costs to get in a Sarco and get a peaceful assisted suicide?

I can imagine a few countries allowing this right now and when it proves itself, it will put pressure on other countries to allow assisted death with the Sarco. Lots of people would be willing to travel to these countries and get their assisted peaceful death and this system and your services would easily be preferred over the inadequate services and processes of organizations such as Dignitas,, Pegasos etc.

Sadly, I know and understand that we are in a real battle with the delusional pro-lifers, the media and most governments.

in a humane civilisation it is never assisted suicide that's the crime. Any empathy for suicidal individuals decrees why so many protections are needed to protect suicidal individuals and assisted suicide is one of them. They have no empathy so it is terrible what they do to someone who they know is suicidal and this only makes assisted suicide an even more invaluable protection.

That said, it is expected the first Sarco will be used in Switzerland at some point in 2021.

I am disappointed with this news, that they are really going with this published blueprint model and not taking production of them into their own hands. I think it would be so great if they would just create the things, put them in an actual store or warehouse that we could visit, put down our signature, pay the money to cover the costs, get in and be on our peaceful way.
If you guys feel similarly about this I ask that you please write to them and explain to them why we disagree with their current Sarco PPH published release model.

Oh, come on now, you know what I mean. It's one thing to do it with your own hand and another to put it a sausage and kill your neighbor's dog. What's wrong with you, people? Just because I am depressed and want that substance, it doesn't mean others have to suffer.

I know this is not what you probably want to hear, but the Sarco is really a glorified full-body Exit Bag!

It will cost you thousands of dollars! Even worse, commercial 3-D printing stores may not print the parts for you if they become aware of your intentions. In addition to the 3-D printed parts, you will need to deal with the electronic controls and any requisite firmware. I hope you can program!

The fact that Dr. Nitschke is unable to produce the Sarco and sell the machine himself means that it is not commercially viable. Finally, you are dealing with liquid nitrogen which is accompanied by safety handling concerns.

This is all smoke-and-mirrors to increase the subscriber base for his PPeH.

Seems like I'd need to get an Engineering degree to build it. Then I'd get in it and shut the door and it would immediately fall apart. The only way I'd ctb is if the machine crushed me as it fell apart. Hmm, maybe that's how it supposed to work..

but I did't even know about the SARCO at that time. that's eerily weird.
I keep thinking about it and I think it's doable, but is a lot of work.
and a refrigerator is not as cool looking as Nitschke's exit pod.

I like the idea of something like this (Sarco) but its got to be more practical. Like even something using a small tent or sleeping bag or something. Basically exit bag with nitrogen but without the bag/more natural and less creepy. Clearly people accidentally die from nitrogen without all the detail and complexity of the formal exit bag method

Maybe. Gotta think about it. I also worry about the bag getting dislodged or torn off, so again I'd love to kind of just be "in" something lying down relaxed and very tired and relaxed with benzos

what if i wear a snorkeling mask mouth piece w/ hose to exhale
and breathe N2 in my nose.
and blow the CO2 out of my mouth and out of the space

You really need a one-way valve to properly direct inhalation and exhalation gas flows. If you want something like a snorkeling mask, I would suggest a demand valve setup like with SCUBA gear.

The snorkeling mask becomes problematic when you become unconscious since your brain will automatically direct you to breathe through your nose or mouth, or both. If so, you may be inhaling expired CO2 which would lead to hypercapnia.
