I have no "that one reason" to ctb. I have 31 reasons. I'm still afraid of acting on it but i also know it is the best option for me before getting old and regretting my life more than now. I turn 25 next month, I wasted my time sooo much. A week ago I saw a psychiatrist and I will have a talk with him again by end of the month. It is like I can't imagine this will turn my life around but I try? But in the same time I hope to die when 2023 is nearly over.

Do you have physical issues or are you healthy ? All I can say if you're healthy , and only 25 (yes only 25) you can spin your whole fucking life around . No matter how bad you have it. Are you healthy ? Or dealing with illness ?

A bit of physical issues, but more like pain in my chest from an anatomy problem. Maybe depression but I get a diagnose soon.

25 is long for me.

I am sorry for your pain. Life can be very painful.

Is it your first time you see an psychiatrist? Is he good for longer speaches or only for medication? I dont know how this works in other countrys, in germany psychiatrist in the main give medication and only psychologists are good for deeper mental help.

I hope you like him, that's nescessary.

If it will work for you? Nobody know. But you should give it a really good chance. Because I met many people who found really good help with therapy. Maybe you are the lucky one!

If different therapy methods doesnt work you have always the possibility to commit suicide. But there are people who found a good life. I really wish you will be one of them!

That's not true for everyone. My problems started at 16 and 32 years later I haven't been able to "spin it around" it's gotten worse.

Thanks. I already have a therapist for 2 years now but I never got any better so that is why my boss recommended a psychiatrist. So yes it was my first meet up with a psychiatrist, only had therapists before. He offers both sessions and meds here but some only offer meds and some do both, no strict rules. I can't tell much yet but our first session was really good he was able to see when I get sad as he asked a lot of questions.

You never know but yes I will try, have my next session by the end of January. It is just like some days I think I should not go there and finally give up and some days I try to get better. I'm constantly between living and dying which is very confusing and I never made an attempt but I feel like it would be better for me and I should try.
Sorry to hear that, hope you will feel better soon. It really sucks not knowing what to do.

Your feelings of wishing not to be here for the next year are completely understandable. I find it horrific the thought of getting older and it makes sense wanting to escape from all future suffering and to refuse to delay our inevitable fate, existing can certainly be tiring when you feel like you've been in this world for far too long. But anyway, best of luck.

Suffered with mental illness that drives me to want to leave this world since I was 16. I'm now in my 50's and finally inching closer to a successful attempt (compared to previous attempts that left me still here). I was never able to "spin it around" despite alot of work trying. As for you OP, it sounds like you've given yourself a timeline of almost a year. It also sounds like you're continuing to explore options for support like seeing the psychiatrist again. Wherever your path takes you I wish you peace along the way.

Thanks for sharing your story, means a lot : )

Yeah it kinda is a timeline, but 2022 I also had a timeline and had no courage to go, so I continued. Maybe it will change, idk.

Thank you very much and I hope you find your path too. Wishing you all the best for it.
