My girlfriend has depression and I'd like to understand better how she feels. Can you share how depression makes you feel?

depression has different levels. if its low to medium - a person can still function , severe - cant function at all. It's important to treat it at low-medium level. I am now highly depressed and its difficult for me to even get out of bed.
