• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

I have been feeling extremely low, hopeless and just tired of it all. I have no more energy to fight and believe me I have tried but I don't want to be me anymore, I wish I was someone else.

I tried university counselling none of it is helpful because counselling services are not allowed give advice even in basic stuff that can help me ie staying motivated, time management etc. They call themselves a listening service but talking about the same issue with no real solutions doesn't help me. The university counselling services also told me I have 5 sessions only. This is why I have decided to withdrawal from the counselling services the university offered because it wasn't meeting my needs.

All I know is I don't want to live for another 10 years and more. My 20s have been a string of disappointments and life isn't for me everyday I feel like I don't belong here in this world.

You'd think for a college community they'd prioritize and have resources for students to get through college when they are doing their best. I'm so sorry you're going through this. šŸ«‚šŸ„¹

That counselling service sounds completely useless. 5 sessions?! Lots of people's problems need much more time than that. Also give you no information or advice? What's the difference between that and venting to a friend (that hopefully is a good listener.) Sounds like complete shit. If you can maybe try to get better therapy but its okay if you are not able due to financial or its hard to find a good service or just don't want to do it in general. I am sorry about your mental illnesses becoming worse and I hope you can find any way to escape from them.

Aw, I'm sorry you're going through this and that the service hasn't been helpful. šŸ«‚

If I'm not mistaken, there's a thread of resources here, not to mention several help lines and other resources that are available. They definitely don't work for everyone, but if you're still seeking out help, I'd recommend at least giving them a shot.

Wishing you the best, whatever you decide
