• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

i think my ctb is approaching soon. i fail to see any other solution than to just end it all for once.

my family is really shitty. i live alone in another state but i still need their financial help to sustain myself here. still, living a state away is way better than putting up with them on the daily.

but my bf still thinks this is not enough, that i need to fully free myself from them and that would mean running away. but i really need to finish college if i want a better future, and that would take some years. years he doesn't think i have.

i think he'll break up with me because of this eventually. and I can't see any other option if not just ending it all. i will be happier in another life, this one is too much.

If family is the source of your financial support, then it's important to maintain a connection with them. It's also important to put college ahead of your boyfriend. Unfortunately, boyfriends sometimes come and go... but what you learn in college will often help you for the rest of your life. If your boyfriend can't wait a little while for you to finish school, which could result in a higher salary that supports future milestones in your relationship, then perhaps it's time to do some thinking about the relationship.

I was in your exact position before. Had I chosen to be with them/run away in my situation at least it would have led to even worse instability for me. It can be difficult to be in this position with someone you love and care about, but it's worth it 100% to choose your future, as was already mentioned to you here. I think a healthy relationship and mature person would support you through that as furthering and completing education will open so many doors for you that you otherwise wouldn't have. I know there's nuance to the situation, and I'm sorry you're in this position, but I wish you all the best.
