I recently had an opiate addiction relapse... After 2 years of being totally clean I began to take codeine again. Some factors concurred to occurrence of this fact, the main ones are: recently I changed place of residence, began to live in solitude and I live in a place where it is easy access to opiates again. So I started to listen to drug-themed songs again. This is one of my favorite songs about addiction:

I remember the first time I learned the lyrics to this and thought what the Hell! I only knew the music and when I read and listened to the lyrics It was I guess a comfort and surprise is weird way. Anyway what do you think. Ironic that this was a theme song except they kept the words out for longest running Comedy/Drama tv show called MASH. Every week would hear the music and wondered if there are lyrics. Well YES there are. Fit my life very well at the time. Planning in progress to CTB when I heard these lyrics.

Think I've posted here before, not sure, but if I have I come bearing something new at least. Machine Girl's music is normally loud and chaotic, but Jesus H Christ above, that last 1 minute 40 seconds is the most ethereal, sounding music I've ever heard in my life. Machine Girl's music (and loud unconventional music in general) has been my lifeline recently, somehow the overstimulation helps keep my thoughts distracted, but this is just straight beautiful.
