Anyone else spent most of their childhood from places to place? For me, I was born in London but moved extremely frequently due to some issues with the council... If so, how many times did you move?

Between the ages of 5 to 18, I moved 6 times. From 21 till now I've moved around 10 times.
I've lived in 8 different states in the USA. I've moved a lot in my life. My father worked for the military so he got transferred a lot due to restructuring of military bases and downsizing.
I do get very jealous of people who have lived in the same place all their lives because it's more likely they have friends they grew up with from school or in their neighborhood. I didn't really have that. And even when I did make friends I lost these friendships as soon as I moved.
