Formula 1 makes me nostalgic for sundays watching it on the tv as a family with a picnic lunch in the living room in the 90s. I lost 'contact' with following it as I grew older. Then (classic) was reintroduced to it by the series Drive to Survive. It was fascinating seeing more about the midpack battles while there was no contest for the leader. However I lost interest in the 3rd or so series when it became more like extended race highlights and less 'behind the scenes' footage. Maybe the more recent couple of series have been more insightful? (I don't have netflix)
I have struggled to keep up with this season for various life reasons. How do you rate the new regulations? Part of me doesn't like the fact there seems to be runaway winning cars again, so there needs to be more of a settling in period. Part of me likes the idea of much more strategy coming into it with the battery charging and use (not sure the correct terminology).
Can't say I've every had a favourite driver, but it was a shame to lose Daniel Ricciardo and I have a lot of respect for nico hulkenberg's longevity. And the respect he got from the whole grid when he got his podium the other year!

While I don't watch it, Rallying has always been a favorite of mine. Going fast around a perfectly paved circuit seems quaint when someone does the same on standard roads full of mud, gravel, snow and less-than-ideal asphalt. I also am somewhat a fan of Formula Indy.

My constant favorite is Forza Horizon 3, though I also like playing old PS1 rally games from time to time (Colin McRae Rally is a great one, as is V-Rally 2) and also been into BallisticNG (Basically a Wipeout spiritual successor).

I also like messing around in BeamNG and Automation, but those aren't really racing games per se.
