If you were to rank ctb methods by the most accessible to the least which ones would you choose?

I'll be interested in what others say, I'm just making this up. And it obviously varies by country - I'm doing the IS


1) Partial Hanging...a rope and a low anchor point. Problem is, not very successful
2) Gunshot. In most places in the US a person can buy a gun and learn how to use it. Pretty effective...but potentially devastating.

Well after that it all depends. If you are a welder maybe inert gas is most accessible. If you have a garage with great beams maybe full hanging is. And SN.....who knows

For me they are all hard, I'm not sure if I can swing it. I do wish there were an easier way.

I think either jumping or train impact are the most accessible. Both are pretty lethal and have availability pretty much everywhere, provided you don't live in the middle of nowhere.

I wouldn't say gun because unless you live in the US it's literally impossible, as disappointing as it is.

As for least accessible I'd probably say night night. I've heard a lot of talk about it and it just sounds too complicated for my little peanut brain to wrap around. There's easier options, I'd rather go with those.

ah yep, it needs practice and probably a better tutorial (the accessibility is based on my experience which doesn't match others maybe). Tho train and jumping have higher chances of failure compared to gun.

I've read a lot about people suggesting SN but I don't know how to use it and how effective it is. I can buy it from Amazon, do you just add water?
I've also seen a lot of posted suggesting hanging but I'm not sure it's that easy. I'm a big guy and don't have anywhere at home that I could harness a rope.
I'm in the UK so cannot get firearms, so I plan to use Oramorph (liquid morphine), upto 300ml, mixed with 100x tramadol (50mg), and 60x codeine (30mg). I also take a regular betablocker and will have approx 40 of these to add. I have read that overdose is most effective when mixing the drugs, and the effect of these particular ones should result in the lungs and heart stopping. I have an anti-sickness med that I will take in advance of my CTB mixture, but now I'm hearing that this probably won't work. Not sure what the easiest and most accessible method is ...

Hanging rope with noose tied on one end also since 12, drop is the preferred method with full suspension second. Inert gas in my 30's. CO by different means but consistently option was there. Pills to od on, tried twice but failed so I gave up on those. Heroin once but was saved and really didn't like trip. Train since I was in college, not getting hit but run over. Wait beside a train that is going fairly slow. After the engines have gone by wait for a car to pass it's front wheels then slide upper body on the rail and let the rear wheels cut your chest or neck in half.

Now I have sn with meto on its way. Just need the benzos and will get those next month.

It looks like a lot but I've had a long time to collect options.

Family of loggers and then ranchers. Both used dynamite often. After my grandpa passed away the ranch was sold. It was a couple years later that my parents found the dynamite.

Yes the SN is the same you can buy. I have no idea if I will use the sn, I just need to have it. It's an ocd thing with me.

I doubt you can get SN on Amazon. Make sure you check it's Nitrite and not Nitrate.

I was opting for an OD because I can't bring myself to jump off a building and have no way of full hanging at home. Sucks!

Hanging is by far the most accessible method. It's so accessible that it's practiced in prisons with practically nothing at their disposal.

Painless, guaranteed ways to permanently cease existing are just all inaccessible to me which is why I continue to be burdened with this torturous, deeply undesirable existence I always saw as a mistake.

I always suffer so much from how I cannot just have the option to peacefully cease existing so I can finally be at peace from this dreadful existence that just causes harm and suffering, I see so much cruelty in how we exist in this horrific anti-suicide world with the suffering and torture of existing seen as to force and prolong no matter what.

Can you expand on this? I have benzos which obviously dont gd kill you as I found after sleeping for a few days. But I always wondered if you could combine them with something. Combining them with cocaine, ketamine, snd alcohol did nothing.

Last month there was concerns about being able to get sn in the US and that tripped my ocd about collecting methods so I was compelled to buy it. Took me less than 15 minutes to find a source and order it. I knew that I didn't want to approach my physician about both meto and benzos. Of the two I figured the meto would be easier to get online. I thought meto might require a prescription and was correct so I thought outside the box and found a way to purchase it. I have it on order and should get it this coming up week. I have a yearly exam at the end of September and will try to get my doctor to give me a script for the benzos, he has been really good about things like this in the past so I hope it will go as planned.
