Moral parsimony is meant to measure your range of moral principles. Higher score means your moral framework is more simple, lower means it's more complicated. The test measures your moral parsimony regarding four different factors. For example, your low "scale" moral parsimony score indicates that choices you make where scale is a factor require more complicated moral thought. The test averages the four scores into one overall score, which for you is 43%.

By the way take this test with a grain of salt like should be done with all online tests. Also I never heard of moral parsimony until 3hrs ago so extend that to this explanation as well lol.

Moral police 🚨🚨 I didn't really answer truthfully, in fact I know exactly what the "right answers are" and I just picked the opposite of what I wanted to answer for 70% of the questions, morality is what you make of it, not what you should be expected to do.

I typed more for like 10 minutes but fck it, it was pointless anyways.

I answered in the way I thought would be acceptable based on the values I grew up with and life experiences. There were questions where I personally wouldn't pick the answer I picked but felt like if I didn't pick it, it wouldn't be according to what I know everyone would deem correct?
I don't know! Ended up feeling a bit conflicted.

I think my score for parsimony was reduced, because I refused to kill anyone to save others. I feel like making that moral judgement without knowing the particular people is not possible. I don't think I have the authority, relevance, or understanding to make that decision for other people. I also don't control how many people hurricanes kill. So it's the result of fate. My interference would be actively killing, even if more people would be saved. It's not a quantity thing. But depending on the day, I could probably go either way. Some days I will indeed feel more like it is better to save the most people.

Interesting thanks for sharing

Overall 71
Geo distance 67
Family 67
Act 60
Scale 100

I think that my geographical distance score should be closer to 100 I have no idea how they got that. And family a lot lower, I consider it an obligation to be completely biased towards my immediate family. I think the kidney question fucked it up because it specified cousin.
