being disabled, unable to work, living in a rural place, nothing nearby, etc. it's like the universe is trying to prevent me from accomplishing anything.

Just need a little bit more money to buy materials to freaking test my sn.
But I have no idea how to get it. I don't think any credit card companies would agree to open a card with me and unless it's one of those stupid freaking loan deposit cards.
Any ideas of substance would help..

I tried matched betting. Made a few hundred pounds maybe- in total. You need to follow the rules carefully though- otherwise, you can end up actually betting and losing money! You need some money to begin with too. Only really good at the start- the money comes from all the introductory offers. Morally I'm not so keen now- especially horse racing- as it can be such a cruel industry.

Also did very tedious, boring internet based tasks via Clickworker. Tried and failed to get on to Cambly- teaching English as a second language.

I'm freelance so, I can be extremely busy and then hit a quiet patch. I was forever Googling 'Work from Home' or temporary jobs.

There are apps that pay miniscule amounts to fill in surveys, play games etc. They don't pay much but, it's something I guess. Some only pay via gift cards though so, you need to check that.

Matched betting is where you put a bet for something to win with one bookie and to lose with another. So effectively- you win one bet and, lose the other. It's important to place the bet with near equal odds- hence 'matched' betting. The 'profit' comes from the introductory offers a lot of these places offer. I remember using a site called: 'Odds Monkey' to help:

I would highly recommend that you research it thoroughly and understand it thoroughly before trying it. It is possible to lose money if you do it wrong! Plus, obviously, there is the temptation to actually gamble- so- if that is too much of a temptation- best to stay away from.

With Clickworker, I wanted to see if I could make reasonable money to subsidise myself. I remember making £40. Not sure whether that was over the course of one day or, a couple. It's extrememly mind numbing I found. Plus, I wasn't the best at grasping what I needed to do always. There are pages and pages of instructions for each task and test trials. I imagine some people do do well with it though- once they've got into a rhythm. There are other sites too- Mechanical Turk is another- I couldn't get a placement there either.

Who knows with Cambly? Better competition I imagine. Not sure I even heard back from them. It was a while ago. That generally means 'no'- when companies don't respond. It's just the shitty reality of it. I must have applied for 100's of jobs over the years. Most companies don't bother to tell you why they've rejected you. A good lot won't even tell you you have been rejected. You just have to assume after a few weeks that you've been unsuccessful. Obviously, the more important ones, you chase up but, it's just the reality of it- I've found. Good luck- whatever you decide to do.
