• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

i have seen this gotten progessively worse. any number of new age quacks out there peddling crystals, qi, reiki, yoga, you name it. i had a tuning fork healer tell me "432 Hz is a Nazi conspiracy", etc.

when reality goes to shit, one turns to woo.
I think it depends how the individual 'uses' and engages with these things- at one time yoga really sorted me-totally turned my life around (ironic now) but then i saw friends that got into- to replace either drug use or a relationship breakdown-and they lost the plot a bit-like really addicted and kind of 'away with the fairies' like u couldnt have a normal, no nonsense chat with them anymore-it was all 'yogaspeak'. Things like silent retreats can go either way for different peoples-they totally help some people-but have also heard of them triggering breakdowns in others!

Yeah I am sure there are many of us who would gladly take that pointless money so we could survive and have the privilege of possibly being happy if it's so irrelevant to those who have it. But I don't see them lining up to shed it. It's more like some weird guilt/projection thing in my view. The wealthy judge who denied my disability case isn't going around donating. My greedy parents aren't helping me or anyone....they claim to be "Christians" but don't do any community service or donate, they thing people in need are moochers. The wealthy people all over the country with luxuries and tax shelters aren't building schools and manning food lines. Other poor to barely getting by people are doing that. Food kitchens, Habitat for Humanity, whatever...it's not rich people working there. The idea that everyone is greedy and wants more and more really presses my buttons and its patently bullshit.

This is why we need a living wage for all the dejected denizens of this planet. I thought we were on the way to achieving that in the 70s but someone put a spanner in the wheel I wish we had their names.
Imho is that it all started to turn to shit when the US dollar got off the gold standard. This meant those in charge could just print dollar bills like no tomorrow. Essentially money is not backed by anything real.
