Discussion Minimum height to jump from to guarantee death

I live in an apartment complex with buildings that are over 20 floors high, so jumping is a method #1 on my list. I'm thinking of doing it that way, so I wanted to know the minimum height necessary to have a 100% certainty of death. I don't want to get it wrong because I'm absolutely terrified of surviving the fall.

150 ft is good if you're falling into the dirt/concrete. 250 ft if you're falling into water. Lostallhope has this info.

That's over 60 metres ? Or what exactly ? I'd want at least 150 metres ... Check out one om my threads, Geo Stone's book is probably a good lead. You don't want to land on something soft, but you certainly don't want to land on your feet !!

on the 20th floor you are sure not to miss it is very rare that she is a miss of the 20th floor

150 ft = ~46 meters. 95-99% chance of death, especially if you land on your head.

I would search for more then 50 meters. The last thing you want is survive such a horrible fall. You have once chance. So be very cautious.

Good answers here, and my suggestion is to get access to the highest floor, elevation if possible. If you are able to get access to the roof top that would be excellent, if not, then the highest accessible floor (20th floor or whichever floor is higher than that).

Their is no minimum height which guarantees certain death because it depends on how you land and on what.

Jumping from a 20 floor apartment complex will surely sent you to the next world.

As long as you don't land feet first i don't see anyone surviving that but i would try to land head first on my back or chest.
