Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

On one hand, meditation makes you less impulsive and gives your thoughts less control over you in the moment but on the other hand it seems like you'd actually want to be impulsive as an overload of bad emotions at the time of CTB would make you desperate enough for SI to no longer work and increased mood from meditation might make me fool myself into thinking "meditation is making me feel better so actually things will get better in the future"

In my opinion and experience, CBT should never be spontaneous or only possible when you feel especially horrible. It should be something that you're extremely comfortable with, and something you genuinely want more than staying alive at all times. The only time I could see a benefit is if you're using an especially agonizing method, otherwise you're better off taking a calm and collected approach to make sure you're doing everything correctly.
