• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Does anyone know like the process of buying a gun? Do I need a license to even purchase one? Or is it like just to conceal carry. How expensive is a cheap pistol ? I'm in America btw haha

Largely depends on what state you're in. Red states it's pretty easy but places like California are a very different story. Reply here or dm me either way I'm happy to help

Yeah it's very very variable depending on the state. But in any state you should be able to buy a gun eventually. If you're in the united states, everyone should own at least one gun!

As long as one does not have any mental health records that the state knows about it should not be too hard. I wanted one just to have for protection and when I applied it popped up really quick that I had been in a psychic ward, and it was an automatic no.

If you do, I would sign up at a gun range and get to know the new side arm and maybe target shotting might be fun. I loved doing it before the hospital aspect.

Lots of well wishes,

Walter

Best advice, go to a gun store and say you want a handgun for self defense just to keep in your home. Tell them you don't know the process of ownership, etc. An friendly expert will be more helpful than the internet

Ohio is no problem unless you're a non-legal resident, under age of 18 for a long gun, or under 21 for a handgun, a convicted felon, or were involuntarily committed to a mental hospital.
