Has anyone been able to successfully receive a SN sample from MiC recently in the US? Did you have to go through any issues in passing the customs? I'm skeptical because there have been couple of cases here, where people are reporting a police visit and potential case against them?

I am in Canada, so not the US, but our laws regarding SN and its importation, shipping safety guidelines, etc. are very similar.
I messaged exactly one manufacturer, and ig I lucked out. They were willing to ship it and label it as something else to get it through customs. Literally couldn't have asked for better.
Getting the manufacturer to label it as something other than SN is paramount in my opinion. Otherwise, as you said, you could get police visits or have it seized in customs, etc. If you send enough inquiries, you will eventually find a seller on MiC that is willing to mislabel it.Similar threads
