pills are generally good for decades past expiration, they may just lose a bit of potency over time.

If they're in strips they'll have an expiry date stamped or printed into them.

pills don't actually expire like they say on the bottle/package. They'll just lose potency over time, they don't go bad like food.
There have been pills tested from a century ago that were still potent.

Yep. I know. And did see your post. I wasn't trying to undermine your comment. I agree. I just thought I'd add to what you said as there is technically an expiry date printed on all strips of tablets even though its pretty arbitrary and probably only there to serve the manufacturers sale numbers. I was posting with the assumption that the date stamp is likely to be a good while yet either way and would put the OP's mind at ease. I'm sure there is plenty of time on them if they were only purchased a couple of months back. : )

I have a question also cause mine says it expires around 3/22 and since it'll lose its potency over time does anyone think taking more meto like doubling the amount taken is okay before attempting?

the potency will lower at such a low rate i don't think it would matter.

no, they'll last for a very long time and lose barely any potency. I wouldn't worry too much.
Okay good. But does that mean I should stick to the regimen and take the amount that's recommended then? Or should I double the dose to get the full affect? Sorry.

I'm prescribed a meto and they insist on refilling my prescription every few months so to save space I've been dumping them all in the same container for the last 3 years. They say not to use them a year after they're filled but I've been fine so far if I'm grabbing the oldest ones.
I don't think many meds actually expire, but personally if it's been 5 years I guess I'd just go and get new ones.
You'll be fine if its been such a short time.
