Methods that won't leave me with brain damage if they fail?

I'm not in a position to access SN or anything that has to be bought online, so I can only really CTB with stuff I can find at home. But most of the methods I'm able to do have the possibility of failing and just leaving me paralysed or disabled or brain-dead. I tried to hang myself on Sunday evening but I chickened out when I remembered what could happen if I fail. It was the only thing that stopped me from doing it for real, right then and there. I don't have access to a gun, or drugs strong enough to do anything serious, and trains are unreliable, as are buildings near where I live, and cutting never works. I really can't see many options left.

My greatest fear is being kept alive against my will, especially if I've damaged myself in some way, e.g. become braindead from hanging, or paralysed from jumping. I NEED a method that will not only work for certain, but also will not permanently harm me if it somehow fails. So far I just haven't been able to find anything that matches this criteria, and can be done using household items. I'd also prefer for it to be relatively pain free, so no burnings or electrocutions either. Any advice?

There are many a threads about the unreliability of many household options, however every single method has the risk of damage. Some more than others, but you are quite literally playing with death. This is not something to be taken lightly. Attempts will ALWAYS have the possibility of not killing you but leaving you with damage, anywhere from mild to debilitating. No method is 100% foolproof. Suicide is not child's play. If you try to CTB you acknowledge the risk you are taking.

unfortunately not. in general the government dont want ppl to kill themselves easily (not gonna debate about the reasons of this, but its more complicated than just governments/corporations wanting more slaves/consumers) so if its a household product, you're not gonna be able to kill yourself easily with it.

the one that was easily accessible and effective (SN) quickly got outlawed. gun is another.

tons of people here are looking for the same thing you are. the closest thing is hanging but even that comes with its own share of risks

The closest thing to that are certain poisons/overdoses, but there are only a couple of reliable and reasonably peaceful ones that are still available. However, even with those there is (probably, depends) a chance if you are saved at the wrong time or absorb enough of the substance to do damage but not kill you. So, really, like the majority of methods, it depends when you fail.
