Is there any way to hide scars other than clothing? Preferably something water resistant as I'm taking swimming lessons soon and don't want them to be seen. I dont have many clothing options to hide so im hoping to find some type of alternative. Suggest anything even if it doesnt seem like it would work please. Anything helps
hiii, i know this is a month late but have you tried foundation? next time hit up a beauty store and find some hydrophobic foundation in your skin tone. if you don't want to buy foundation over and over, you can also just try finding a long sleeved shirt for swimming (rashguards)

maybe makeup could cover them up? i dont know if theres any water proof make up though. there are water proof bandages but those might draw even more attention.
Obvi idk how yours look, but I took swimming lessons last year with very apparent sh scars on my thighs and nobdoy said anything (even if some clearly noticed ), if that's what you're worried about. You're in the water for so much of the session and trying to learn not to drown that nobody rlly cares to focus on other people's bodies.
Otherwise, basically just what the other commentors said. But also check if with your pool if you guys are allowed to wear sports wear, or even just breathable clothes in the pool for your lessons.
Alot of restrictions that pools have for normal times are lowered down during lessons because there's barely anyone there. A couple of times I literally wore a shower cap in the pool
Floaties you can wear over your arms (if the scars are there( though the instructor may ask you to remove them so warning there)
I know Camouflage makeup from the brand Dermablend. Used it myself as I have a lot of old scars on my arms. Another brand will do too for sure but look for products expecially to cover up scars
i used skin color tattoo covers on amazon, like the ones ppl use when they go to japan so ppl wont look at them weird. if you have a lot of rough and bumpy texture like i do, i also used a LOT of bracelets and jewelry with it. i dont anymore since i finally actually got an actual tattoo on my arm that covers the area super well.

These two especially. I haven't used it bc i dont cut, but i've heard its a rlly good product for hiding scars and even tattoos.
pro makeup tip, if you want something for everyday use get some anti-redness concealer cream on the marks if they're pretty red and THEN put foundation over it. the green cancels out the red tones so it blends in more.

theres water resistant makeup! apparently you can swim in them, but... it will wash off eventually.
also OP i should mention, make sure you let it dry and set it with powder before going out/wearing something over it, or it's gonna transfer to your clothes, your hands, and everything you love
I'm not sure if this goes under the category of clothing. But maybe you could try a full body swimsuit, like a wetsuit or similar? I have personally used this and it worked really good. It covers basically everything and if someone ask about it (witch I doubt) you can just say that you get cold easily.
