hey
so recently i watched this one video where a russian guy overdoses on 1 gram of methadone.
From what I read even 500mg is considered lethal, but I haven't seen much about if it is painful, or how the whole overdose process works with this one.
Getting access to it might not be as difficult for me … honestly considering it.
Does anyone know more about this? thanks

It's pretty toxic in overdose. In the early '90s in the UK there were more deaths annually from methadone than heroin/morphine. It's treatable with Naloxone like other opioids but it's very long half-life means that treatment is often needed for an extended period to avoid symptoms recurring:

The biggest barrier is getting hold of it in sufficient concentration - the standard oral syrup formulation used for opioid dependence is 1mg/ml and it's often given in supervised treatment. If you can get hold of tablets, powder or the oral concentrate (10-20mg/ml) it becomes a lot more feasible. I've seen 40mg tablets listed on DNMs where I live.

It's really good question.
I've watched that video also and started to think about this method. Before never had any thoughts on opioids. I've read opioids megathread and unfortunately there's not so much info.
The most important thing I understand from that you will have nausea and probably vomiting without tolerance.
I'm am also worried that video footage just cutted and irl it could be not so peaceful.
So if someone deeply researched this method please share your opinion.
Especially if you have zero tolerance and never use any drugs.

How can I access it?

I would be really careful with methadone. I was on methadone for a year through a drug clinic. I've been off for a year and still have withdrawal symptoms. These symptoms are also worse then fenty withdrawal was.

I have no idea how viable it is for CTBing. But if you start messing around with it, just be well educated and sure you won't end up dependent on it!!! I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Methadone is very lethal, at least twice than Pentobarbital.
